VoyageMIA interview with WXC Corporation CEO

Voyage Group of Magazines started in Los Angeles, with their flagship publication VoyageLA.  After generating our first million page views in LA they knew our content was resonating with the community.

Since then, they’ve grown to a handful of other amazing cities, including Miami, with the help of an amazing network of friends, associates, local insiders and influencers, PR firms, local bloggers, artists, creatives, entrepreneurs and other professionals.

In the last issue of VoyageMia, they interviewed our CEO, here you can read it.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adriana Moreno.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Adriana. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
One of my family’s values is acts of service. I grew up seeing my parents enjoying helping people. It was something I always had on my mind. My husband encouraged me to start a business where my talents could be used in the most effective way. My business also has allowed me to serve in ways I have always wanted, serving my team and the community.

I received my first few clients as referrals from a former employer. After that, we have added new clients completely from word-of-mouth from satisfied clients. it has been one client referring another based on their experience. I appreciate every single person that trusts me and believes in my company. As the number of clients started to increase I found the need to hire staff to help me to continue to give the same quality of service.

As we have continued to add staff, serving my team has been one of my top priorities. My goal has always been to create a professional environment where we all can grow as individuals professionally, but also personally. I deeply believe we all can learn, but what we have in our hearts cannot be taught, therefore my staff should reflect the company’s values of integrity, compassion and selflessness.

11 years have passed since I began my company, and my business and my team keeps growing. My goal to provide the best service is the ultimate motivation for us as we look to the future with faith, appreciate the challenges that come before us, and smile at the wonderful moments that my clients, my team and I are blessed to share.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has not been a smooth road, but it definitely has been a wonderful experience where each challenge I have faced has taught me something valuable.

My biggest struggle has been finding staff members who consistently live by the company’s values and reflect them through our service. Honesty, attention-to-detail, and kindness are necessary to go along with our internal procedures. Despite of this struggle, I appreciate each one of the people that work and have worked for the company.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with WXC Corporation – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
